Samuel Samara

Samuel Samara is the Democratic nominee for Scott County Treasurer, having won the June 2, 2026 Scott County Democratic primary. He will appear on the November 2026 general election ballot. Scott County encompasses Davenport, Bettendorf, and the Iowa side of the Quad Cities.

Samara works in county government as Information Technology Infrastructure Manager for Scott County, overseeing the county's network and enterprise IT systems. Based in Eldridge, he has also served as an adjunct instructor in the Cisco Networking Academy at Eastern Iowa Community College and holds CMNO, CCNA, MCP, and VCA technical certifications. He was previously a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical responder with the Long Grove Volunteer Fire Department.
